Remote Control Freebox – Mac OS

How to remote control a Mac OS computer with the freebox Revolution :

1 – Open System Preferences from the Mac you want to control and go to Sharing panel, enable the
Remote Management option and note your IP source (192.168.X.XX)
Allow only access with the user of your computer as you know his login and password
If you want to control throw SSH, enable Remote Login.
2 – Connect you to this manager from your freebox network : http://mafreebox.freebox.fr
3 – Go to Freebox State and get the IP from the internet state pane and IpV4 address field.
4 – Go to the port manager and add this :
– port:5900 protocole:TCP from:All to:192.168.X.XX (ip of the computer to control)
– port:5900 protocole:UDP from:All to:192.168.X.XX (ip of the computer to control)
– port:3283 protocole:TCP from:All to:192.168.X.XX (ip of the computer to control)
– port:3283 protocole:UDP from:All to:192.168.X.XX (ip of the computer to control)
(SSH access – not required)
– port:22 protocole:TCP from:All to:192.168.X.XX (ip of the computer to control)
– port:22 protocole:UDP from:All to:192.168.X.XX (ip of the computer to control)
4 – Restart your freebox to apply changes.
5 – Open from safari this address : vnc://XX.XXX.X.XXX <– IPV4 Address of your freebox
